Apply mastic to the back of the stone and apply to the surface. The stone, just like a natural stone will vary in size, so you may find that you need to cut it to fit using a wet tile saw. If you have to use the wet saw ensure that you’ve dried the stone before applying mastic.

yep. Just make sure you use the correct PL product. Mortar would be preferable but I have seen all kinds of stuff ‘glued’ with PL and it seems to work fine.

Also, sealing your stone will help protect the Stone Veneer from mud and dirt stains. However, if your custom stone is on the interior of your home it’s not mandatory, but it is recommended.

Does AirStone need to be sealed?

When using AirStone as a backsplash, or an outdoor kitchen, we do recommend applying a sealer. Like natural stone, it will absorb grease and food splatters without protection. Use a high-quality brand for concrete, masonry, or porous stone.
