Changing A Student’s Avatar in the K-2 Learning Environment
- Log in to your child’s DreamBox account.
- Click the landing pad next to My House. Your avatar will walk to My House and go inside.
- Click the picture of your avatar. The Avatar page opens.
- Click the avatar you want to use.
- Click Done.
How many levels are in DreamBox?
DreamBox has different Learning Environments that are designed to be engaging to kids at different grade levels. There are three Learning Environments: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8.

How do you activate students on DreamBox?

- Click the Settings wheel in the Top Navigation Pane.
- Open the Roster tab.
- Use the Select Class drop-down menu to select the classroom you will edit.
How do you get all the badges in DreamBox?
From the My Stuff page, students can view their Badges and Collections by selecting from the tabs along the ribbon. Students earn badges by completing specific tasks while playing DreamBox. Collection items are unlocked based on the time they spend in DreamBox. The items they have earned or unlocked are in full color.
How do you get a gold border in DreamBox?
Students have the ability to “level up” their avatars with borders of bronze, silver, or gold by completing lessons. Students can also click a tab on the right side of the Lesson Chooser and see their progress toward the weekly goal of completing 5 lessons a week.
What grade level is DreamBox?
DreamBox Learning recognizes the need for appropriate learning environments for students of all ages. Students in grades 6 and higher are automatically placed in the 6-8 Learning Environment.
What do the little numbers mean in DreamBox?
Each lesson appears in a colored circle and may include a number in the bottom-right corner. This number is the lesson sequence number for that unit. It will increase (or decrease) as the student progresses through the unit. The sequence numbers will not always be sequential.
Is there a way to finish DreamBox?
For DreamBox to accurately track a student’s learning path, they should spend at least 60-90 minutes and complete at least 5-8 lessons per week. They do not need to complete this in a single session, but a minimum of 20 minutes per session helps ensure your child has sufficient time to finish a lesson.

How do I remove students from TeachTown?
The TeachTown map will appear. This is the beginning of the student session. When the student session ends, or if you need to end a session early, hold down the (left) mouse button “T” key to exit the student session.
