  3. Don’t use oil soaps, liquid or paste wax, or other household products containing lemon, citrus, tung oil, or silicon to clean floors.

Can TecWood be refinished?

Can you use a steam mop on engineered hardwood?

Engineered Hardwood Floors Though durable on the surface, engineered hardwoods are bonded using adhesives, and the steam cleaning can affect the quality of those adhesives. Moisture can seep between the layers, weakening the bond and permanently damaging the floors. Avoid using steam mops on engineered hardwood floors.

Can you use a steam mop on Mohawk laminate flooring?

Never wet mop or use steam cleaners on your floor. Never use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or scouring powder, as they will scratch your floor. Mohawk laminate is based on pre-treated, watertight, glued HDF board. Despite Mohawk laminate’s relative moisture-resistance, remove any excess water immediately.

Is Murphy’s oil soap good for engineered hardwood floors?

Can hydrogen peroxide be used on laminate floors?

Peroxide breaks down proteins, so it’s wonderful for getting blood stains out of clothes. Just be careful because it is also capable of removing color from fabric. Clean your laminate or linoleum floors with a 50/50 peroxide/water mixture for floors so clean you could eat off of them!
