Where do I pick up my UW parking pass?
When your permit is purchased it can be picked up in office anytime between office hours. Please have your account number with you. If you have any questions about the type of permit you need to purchase please email us or call us at 519-888-4567 33100.
How do I activate U pass?
To activate your U-PASS, you must tap it on an ORCA card reader within 60 days of issuance. ORCA card readers are found at the front of buses or mounted on a wall or pole at Link, Sounder or Swift stations. At RapidRide stations you have the option to tap on the ORCA reader at the station or on the bus as you enter.
Is UW parking free?
Except when event rates are in effect, campus parking is complimentary in unrestricted lots and non-gated facilities from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. on weekdays, from noon on Saturdays until 6 a.m. on Monday and on University holidays. Your permit will show what lot you are assigned to and an expiration time.
Does U-Pass expire?
Your card is good for up to seven years (see its expiration date and hold onto it). Your card will work across multiple school terms over its life, and also works when you’re not in school as a regular Ventra Card for full fare and/or full fare passes.

How long is urine good for?
Do not keep it for longer than 24 hours. The bacteria in the urine sample can multiply if it is not kept in a fridge. If this happens, it could affect the test results.

Urine is typically the same as a person’s body temperature. On average, this is 98.6˚F (37˚C). Some people have normal temperature variations that may be slightly hotter or slightly cooler than this. Urine will usually maintain its temperature outside the body for about four minutes.

The rate for parking M-F during the day with PPUP is $8.75/day. Nights and weekends are free. Harborview caps the total PPUP charges at the Harborview monthly staff parking rate. For residents and fellows who are not UW employees prepaid PPUP parking can be purchased at the HMC Parking Office.
Is there valet parking at Harborview Medical Center?
Disability parking is available in all Harborview parking lots. If you or a family member has a disability and needs help parking, a valet is available at the west entrance of the medical center 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
