Can I drive with my TopperLift up? We do not recommend driving with TopperEZLift in the fully extended position. You can drive with it in an extended position if you are only up 8 inches or less, however we recommend using extreme caution and your best judgment in such a scenario.

How is a truck topper installed?
Align the truck cap with clamps. First, climb into the pickup bed and go as far to the front as possible. Align the clamps and hand-tighten them with a socket wrench. Next, close the tailgate and make sure the truck cap stays aligned. Adjust and realign if needed.
Can you drill into fiberglass camper shell?
I put mine on a fiberglass snugtop campershell. I used regular drill bits but would of preferred plexiglass drill bits. Instead I drilled a very small pilot hole and then only went half way through on the top and then finished from underneath. No problems with any kind of crack or run.
