Is the Maryland Science Center free?
The most comprehensive free admission program of any institution in Maryland. Each year, 90,000 students, educators, and chaperones visit us at the Inner Harbor– at no cost! You might remember YOUR free field trip to the Maryland Science Center.
Is the Maryland Science Center for adults?
Absolutely! Aside from visiting our normal exhibits, we have a variety of programs made just for adults! From music shows in the planetarium to drinks with dinosaurs, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
How long does it take to go through the Baltimore Science museum?
This is a very hands on museum. I would say most exhibits are geared for kids 5-12ish. We spent good 2.5 hours and probably didn’t see everything, but spent extra time at the Dinos and on the 3rd floor. It’s a bit pricey but most museums are.
Is Maryland Science Center good for toddlers?
The kids will love all the opportunities for hands-on learning and activities. Located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this science center has it all from learning about the cosmos to understanding the Chesapeake Bay’s ecosystem.
How to get to the Maryland Science Center?
There is so much to see at the Maryland Science Center, and even more to do. Let’s science! Tickets can also be purchased in advance online or by phone at 410-545-5929 during regular business hours. The Science Center is accessible from I-95 and I-295 from the south, I-95 and I-83 from the north, and I-70 to the west.
