Are WYZE cameras Z-Wave?

What is the difference between Z-Wave and Zigbee?
Both types use different radio frequencies. Zigbee uses a 2.4 GHz frequency or a 915 MHz frequency, and Z-Wave uses a frequency of 908.42 MHz. A device that uses Zigbee won’t be able to communicate with a device that uses Z-Wave and vice versa.
Do they make Z-Wave cameras?
Unfortunately there are no z-wave cameras. This is due to the nature of the z-wave protocol. The protocol is less suitable for high definition camera streams.
Can I use WYZE cameras with SmartThings?
One of the questions I get asked frequently is “Does the Wyze cam work with SmartThings?” The answer is yes. The integration allows you to use the Wyze cam as a virtual switch or motion detector.

Can A Z Wave camera work with a Vera hub?
Z-Wave is able to only send small bits of information; Z-Wave cannot support cameras. Vera Controls cameras are designed for the Vera hubs (VeraEdge, VeraPlus), but since these are IP cameras, basic functionality will work with any hub that allows an URL, including SmartThings and FIBARO.
