Can you swim at Lake Catherine Statepark?
Yes! There is a swimming area with a small beach. I have also seen people swimming in the main body of the lake, but we need to be careful as many stumps in the lake.
Is Lake Catherine closed?
Open daily at 10 a.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Fall & Winter: Open 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday through Thanksgiving. Though not required, reservations are recommended and to make horseback riding reservations only call 501-262-0777. They cannot answer questions about the park.

Do not wade in the water, the lake is not a swimmable or potable lake. Please do not fish, we do have sanctioned fishing programs but over fishing and non-guided fishing can lead to discarded fishing lines, trampling of vegetation, and can cause other wildlife issues.
