All you gotta do is disconnect the hose(s) that lead to the throttle body. Then, with carb cleaner/throttle body cleaner, spray liberally all inside and on the throttle valve. Take a shop towel/paper towel(s) and thoroughly clean the internal surfaces, getting any crud that’s’ in there.

- Disconnect 3 hoses and air filter cover, then remove the big throttle body hose. ( easier in warm weather plastic)
- Spray throttle body cleaner (I used MAF cleaner) & clean the valve corner and body wall.
- Assemble everything back.
- Disconnect battery terminal for a few minutes.
