Is Anno an RTS?
Anno, a series of RTS city management games developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte, comes back from the future with Anno 1800. This installment of the long-running series is set during the Industrial Revolution, making it the first entry since 2009’s Anno 1404 to be set in the past.
Was there a year 0?
Well, actually there is no year 0; the calendar goes straight from 1 BC to 1 AD, complicating the process of calculating years. Most scholars believe that Jesus was born between 6 and 4 BC (Before Christ) and that he died between 30 and 36 AD (Anno Domini, latin for “in the year of the lord”).
Is Anno a good game?
Its early game is a wonderfully relaxing experience, while the later stages will have you scratching your mutton-chops and happily stretching your braces in equal measure. Despite an annoying story mode, Anno 1800 is the biggest and best entry in the series to date.
Is Anno worth buying?
From my experience, buying Anno 1800 was 100% worth it. It’s so much fun playing it, the graphics look amazing, and also I no longer get owned by the AI – but that might just be because I’m better at video games today than I was 15 years ago…

Does Anno 1800 have combat?
Naval Combat Battle Cruiser will take as much as 15 minutes. As the outcome of wars is primarely decided at sea, in big clashes of the opposing navies but also with tactics to harass or disrupt enemy trade routes, being experienced with Combat in Anno 1800 will increase your chance of winning your wars significantly!
