What is Ecutek RaceROM?
RaceROM is a suite of feature enhancements available for OEM ECUs tuned with EcuTek tuning tools, which offers increased tuning and driving capabilities. RaceROM is available for specific ranges of engine management systems, including the Subaru electronic throttle (Drive-by-wire), Nissan GTR and Juke ECUs.

Can the GT86 drift?
Here’s the rub: the BRZ/GT86 isn’t very sideways. Great car, that BRZ/GT86, and it’s a safe way to learn the basics of rear-wheel drive, but be warned: it won’t turn you into an overnight drift sensation.
How do I install RaceROM?
Feature file installation To open a ROM file, select Open ROM File… from the File menu, and select the ROM file you want to use. Go to the RaceROM tab, check there are no custom featuers already installed, and click the Add RaceROM Featuers button. Select the correct feature file for the ROM and click the Open button.
How do you use RaceROM Ecutek?
RaceROM Rolling Launch allows you to roll race at the touch of the button. To set, enter the map switch mode in which Rolling Launch is activated. Press and hold the cruise control set button to build boost, adjust your speed with the accel pedal to match your opponent aaand… release the set button and enjoy!
What is the difference between UpRev and EcuTek?
Although both EcuTek and UpRev are both reprogramming the factory ECU both tuning suites are very different. IMO UpRev does not have the boost control maps defined properly and don’t have the live data parameters a tuner would need to actually calibrate boost control correctly.

“It’s not very fast” was the opening remark a friend made after seeing the specification of our Subaru BRZ. True, 197bhp and a 7.6sec 0-62mph time are nothing to shout about in 2018, but, after six months with the car, I am very aware of how little those things matter.
Is 86 good for drifting?
Despite the less-than-ideal power levels in stock form, the GT86 is ripe for an engine swap or forced induction. There’s already a HUGE level of aftermarket support for the platform, and you can already get them for reasonable money too. Mark my words, this is a future drift classic.
