This will likely change with development of 3DS games slowing down this year. Sega Genesis Classics, meanwhile, came out for Switch on December 7. It’s a collection of some of the best games that ever came out Sega’s 16-bit console, and it includes the three Genesis entries in the Phantasy Star franchise.

Phantasy Star IV is a more streamline JRPG. It’s of really high quality and has an amazing OST. Could easily compete with the Final Fantasy series and in my opinion better than Dragon Quest of that era. Phantasy Star Online 1&2 are also worth playing.
