The KV-2 152mm Heavy Tank. This Russian Soviet WW2 KV-2 Heavy Tank can be found at the Central Armed Forces Museum, Moscow, Russia. It was manufactured in in June 1941, it has the Serial Number 4744. It was one of the later KV-2 tanks to be produced and is the only surviving example of a complete original tank.

Is the KV-2 Real?
The number produced is unknown, but were very limited before they were upgunned with the 152 mm (5.98 in) howitzer. An unknown number of KV-2s were captured by the Wehrmacht. There were no plans to serially produce a KV-2 with a 107 mm gun.
How effective is KV-1?
The only way was to allow a KV-1 come closer than 500 meters, which was akin to suicide. The most effective measure in the fight against KV-1 tanks were 88-mm anti-air guns, able to fight the “ghosts” over long distances.

Was the kv1 a good tank?
However, the KV-1 wasn’t destined to become the best tank of World War II. While perfectly-armored, it was completely technically unreliable. A raw, unfinished design, poor quality of the transmission and shoddy air filter often meant that some tanks didn’t even reach the battlefield and would keep stalling.
