What is Key Club district convention?
District Convention, also known as DCON, is an annual event held to celebrate the achievements of the term, elect the new District Executive Board, attend workshops, meet new people, and welcome the new term. Key Clubbers from all around California, Nevada, and Hawaii gather to create STELLAR memories with each other.

It would resemble Kiwanis, have its own classifications based on school interests and hold luncheon meetings. The club was comprised of the key boys in the school, willing to serve the school in any way possible and to create better school spirit. Thus, the club was dubbed Key Club.
