What subjects are on the MAP test?
There are MAP Growth tests for grades 2–12 in reading, language usage, mathematics, and science. Students can test in some subjects in Spanish. There is also a MAP Growth K–2 for early learners in reading and mathematics.

How long is the MAP math test?
Although the tests are not timed, the typical length of time for the MAP test (Grades 2-8) is 1 hour per content area. MPG K-2 tests take from 15 to 30 minutes to complete. The length of the test varies because of the adaptive nature of the test.
Is 200 a good MAP score?
Although it is possible to score as high as 265 or more on the reading test and 285 or more on the math test, 240 (reading) and 250 (math) are typical top scores.
Is the MAP test hard?
