Later the New Council of Tirisfal gave their powers to Med’an, and he teleported to Ahn’Qiraj, to defeat Cho’gall once and for all.

While Cho’gall survived, he would then forever have a cross-shaped scar on the chest where Rend and Maim sliced him open.
