Are dogs allowed in Nichols Arboretum?
Although Matthaei Botanical Gardens prohibits dogs on the trails and in the display gardens, Nichols Arboretum welcomes leashed dogs on the property. Indeed, one of the perks of working at Nichols Arboretum is getting to see and greet the hundreds of dogs that visit the Arboretum with their owners.
Is Nichols Arboretum free?
There is no admission charge to enter Matthaei Botanical Gardens or Nichols Arboretum. We do charge $2.00 per hour for parking at Matthaei, with a $5 daily maximum charge.
Are dogs welcome at the arboretum?
U.S. National Arboretum Bring Fido to the U.S. National Arboretum, where leashed pets are welcome to join you as you explore the 446 acres of gardens along 9.5 miles of pathways. Your pup isn’t allowed on tram tours of the arboretum, but you can drive or walk with him throughout the grounds. Admission is free.

The grounds of the U.S. National Arboretum are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the year except for Christmas Day. The National Bonsai & Penjing Museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission to the grounds and museum is free and no tickets are needed.

Are dogs allowed at the Arboretum Lexington KY?
Dog are allowed on the Walk Across Kentucky paved path. They must be leashed at all times, and you are responsible for picking up and disposing of waste. Dogs are NOT ALLOWED in any garden or building, including the Kentucky Children’s Garden. Seeing eye or service animals are allowed if properly marked.

Is the Nichols Arboretum in Ann Arbor open?
Trails are open daily sunrise to sunset at the Arb. No amenities currently available other than portable bathrooms outside. Nichols Arboretum is located adjacent to U-M’s Central Campus in Ann Arbor. All trails within the Arboretum’s borders are closed to motorized vehicles.
Is the peony garden at the Nichols Arboretum open?
