Are Armada skis any good?
The Armada ARVW is a great ski for all soft snow conditions. We think it is playful, but difficult to ski in variable conditions and at high speeds. A confident, aggressive skier may have a better time on this ski, but we do not recommend it for intermediate skiers. It skis true to length.

Is the Armada TST a good powder ski?
The Armada TST is a decent powder ski. The Armada TST is good for little airs in the all-mountain terrain park. The TST feels surfy and was one of the most playful skis in our review. The Atomic Vantage Alibi was close behind it in the testers ranking for playfulness, but we felt that the Atomic took more energy to ski since it was stiffer.
Which is better DPS Wailer 99 or Armada TST?
It has too much of a soft snow bias to be considered an excellent all-mountain ski. Overall we were pretty underwhelmed by the Armada TST. There are better options within our review for powder skiing that handle hard packed conditions better than the TST, like the DPS Wailer 99 and the Nordica NRGy 100.
What’s the Flex profile of an armada ARV 96?
As a result of the changes, the new ARV 96 comes out feeling a little stiffer than the previous models, and is now on the solid end of medium flexing. Armada describe the flex profile (out of 10) as 6- 7- 6.5 from nose to tail.
Which is better the ARV or the ski?
Previously it could be hard to choose between the two older models but now, it shouldn’t be hard at all. If you have an interest in doing anything except for jibbing, flexing and pressing all the time then for 95% of people the ARV is a better performing ski (unless you have a particular issue with tapered skis or only ski park and soft snow).
