What is Suprefact nasal spray used for?
It works by lowering the production of sex hormones. It is used to treat prostate cancer by lowering the amount of the hormone “testosterone”. Before using Suprefact, your doctor should assess your risk of developing diseases of heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease), diabetes mellitus and anaemia.
What is Buserelin acetate used for?
Buserelin is used in men to treat advanced prostate cancer. It is not a cure. Most types of prostate cancer need the male hormone testosterone to grow and spread. This medication works by reducing the amount of testosterone that the body makes.
Does Suprefact make you tired?
You may feel dizzy, drowsy or have blurred eyesight while using this medicine. If this happens, do not drive or use any tools or machines. Suprefact injection contains: • Benzyl alcohol.
What does Suprecur nasal spray do in IVF?
Fertility treatment (nasal spray or injection). This medicine is used to prepare the pituitary gland before starting treatment with gonadotrophins (FSH and LH) to artificially stimulate ovulation.
Does Suprefact delay period?
You will have a period while on the Suprefact® nasal spray as the endometrial lining is shed. It may be the same or different from your usual menstrual cycle. It is not unusual for the timing or amount of flow to differ from your usual cycle.
How do you take Suprefact injection?
DIRECTIONS: 200 mcg (0.2 mL) daily by subcutaneous injection or intranasal administration 400 mcg (200 mcg into each nostril) 3 times daily.
How do you use buserelin nasal spray?
Endometriosis: The total daily dose is 900 micrograms buserelin, administered as one spray dose in each nostril in the morning, at mid-day and in the evening. The product may be used before or after meals or at other times, provided that uniform intervals are maintained between doses.

Does Suprefact need to be refrigerated?
Buserelin puts you temporarily into a mini-menopausal state, so you may experience symptoms including hot flushes, night sweats, headaches and mood swings. Where should I store it? The bottle should be kept at below 25C in a safe, dry place. This can be in the fridge.
