Partly man-made and partly natural, Bude Sea Pool is a brilliant wild swimming pool tucked beneath the cliff at the northern side of Summerleaze Beach, providing a safe haven for swimmers who can enjoy the benefits of wild swimming without having to worry about the dangers of the sea.

When can you swim in Bude Sea Pool?
Bude Sea Pool is open all year round, although we always recommend you swim at low tide, when someone else is about, and do not swim at night. Once a year we empty Bude Sea Pool to give it a good clean and remove algae and stones that the Atlantic Ocean has brought during the winter.
