So pleased that the trail is no longer closed after two years. It is possible now to cycle / walk / run along its entire length from Allaire to Manasquan without having to take a dangerous fast road detour. Great for bikes in particular. The underpass under the 34 is now open and paved.

Although the ride is mostly flat, it does have a few steep (short) hills and riding back across the causeway into the wind was a challenge. The path is mostly paved, but the causeway is gravel.
