How Good Is rode VideoMic?
Great construction and sound! I have bought a number of RODE mics and have always loved them! They produce a great product that lasts a long time. I recently bought a DSLR camera and was looking for a great shotgun mic for it and bought this one.

The Pro Plus is a new and improved version of the popular VideoMic Pro. It looks similar from the outside (although, the pro is quite a bit smaller), but has some much-needed upgrades like automatic power switching. The Pro Plus will turn on when plugged into the camera or switch itself off when unplugged.
