What is the best underfloor insulation NZ?

Is polyester insulation any good?

Why is polyester a good insulation?
Polyester fibres are non-irritant, non-toxic and non-allergenic. At Insulation Australia, our polyester batts do not have airborne fibres of breathable size and do not contain formaldehyde, a known carcinogen and major asthma trigger used in some insulation.
Which insulation is best NZ?

What is the best way to insulate under a wooden floor?
Answer: Ideally a fibrous insulation such as mineral wool or sheep’s wool performs best between timber because it will take up thermal movement and cut down air movement around the insulation. ‘Thermal bypass’ affects performance, so cutting out draughts is preferable.
