- Cover the frame and fork with protective foam tubes (pipe insulation) or cardboard.
- Wrap the chain in cardboard or plastic.

Where do the forks go in an EVOC bike?
The forks sit inside the EVOC Road Bike Adaptor Kit (sold separately – Wiggle, Chain Reaction) and are secured to the frame as well as internally to the bag. Before securing your frame with the frame straps, put the Road Bike Adaptor Kit frame protector around the top and down tubes as shown below. The handlebars can go behind the bike or on top.
Can you put a chain cover on an EVOC bike?
EVOC does sell chain covers if you choose to leave the chain on and they state it has a separation flap between the chainstay and the chain to keep things protected. You’ll also notice the extra bits of foam wrapped around many of the tubes (especially important for the suspension stanchions).
Do you need a travel bag for a mountain bike?
