How do I use admix?
Mix 1 part Thin-Set & Mortar Admix with 1 part clean water and use as a direct replacement for the water requirement in any mortar mix. Thin-Set & Mortar Admix can be used full strength for improved performance. The total amount of liquid added will vary.

Mix the grout filler with LATICRETE® 1776 Latex Admix, mix only enough that can be used in 30 min or less. Clean up immediately before beginning next mix. When applying, the grout joints should be free of dirt, debris or tile spacers. Sponge or wipe dust/dirt of tile faces and remove water standing in joints.
What does grout enhancer do?
Grout Enhancer is mixed with grout to seal it, preventing mold, mildew and bacteria from growing there. Its manufacturer holds it also reduces cracking and powdering in tile grout. Sealing the grout also locks in its color, prevents moisture and weather damage, and reduces absorption in the grout.

Dampen tile surface with water. Spread with a sharp, firm rubber grout float. Work the grout paste into the joints until completely filled. Use diagonal strokes to pack the joints.

What happens if you use too much plasticiser?
Excessive use of plasticisers can have an adverse effect on the mortar. Lime added to mortars is well known for giving them a soft, putty-like consistency which can make them easier to work and retard their setting.
How do you mix plasticiser?
Add Thompson’s Mortar Plasticiser to a rate: 150ml- 500ml per 50kg of cement, depending upon degree of plasticising required, or 2.5 lire per 200 litre drum of water. (The coarser the sand the greater addition rate required).
