Is CPJE changing to MPJE?
California Board of Pharmacy has voted unanimously to remove the CPJE and replace it with the MPJE. Class of 2021 will still have to take the CPJE. The change will occur after the OPES conducts its official audit of the CPJE.
How hard is CPJE?
The CPJE is only out of 90 questions and they throw out 15, so even with the “hard exam” “easy exam” curve, you still can only miss like 18 questions and pass. Score range 75-99. So the odds of passing are greatly in your favor for the NAPLEX and less so for the CPJE.
What happens if you fail the NAPLEX 5 times?

Do you need to be solid on NAPLEX to pass cpje?
If you have not read my post on how I passed NAPLEX, I recommend reading that first here. I wholeheartedly believe that you need to be solid on NAPLEX material in order to pass CPJE. Both of my exams had topics all across the board, and therefore you need to be generally strong overall in clinical.

Can you read the rxprep cpje book twice?
The RXPrep CPJE book is very small, and I was able to read it in its entirety twice, in addition to watching the RXPrep online videos. As I have previously stated, I do not recommend watching the RXPrep NAPLEX online supplemental videos.
