What is language paper 1 Section A?
Language paper 1 is all about exploring creative reading and writing. You’ll be looking at an example of a fiction text and doing some creative writing. In section A you are asked four questions about a fiction extract from the 20th or 21st centuries.

What is a01 in English literature A level?
AO1 essentially requires informed and relevant responses which are accurately written and use appropriate concepts and terminology. AO2 requires students to analyse ways in which meanings are shaped in literary texts, with particular focus on the structures of texts as a form of shaping.
Does English count as 2 GCSEs?
