How long do hydroponic plants last?
It varies but it’s not uncommon for a hydroculture plant to last ten years or more. Although a tougher, more resilient plant, they will still need adequate light, water, nutrients, etc.

In a retail setting, where the temperatures remain consistently around 70 degrees Fahrenheit and the products are away from direct sunlight, organic liquid fertilizers can usually remain stable up to five years or sometimes longer.
Do you pH water before or after nutrients?
If you are using a nutrient for the first time and are not familiar with how it is going to affect your pH, you should mix your nutrient first. Let the solution sit for about 15 – 20 minutes and then check the pH and adjust accordingly. Keep track of how much pH Up or Down you add to the solution.
