Sherpa fleece may be one of those varieties that is vulnerable to heat and will shrink when the water or dryer gets too hot. You can shrink fleece on purpose and all you will need is hot washing machine water and high dryer heat but this is more of a trial and error process as all fleece products are different.

Why is Levi’s denim trucker Sherpa jacket sans lining?
This decision was undoubtedly due to the extra padding from the thick lining. This works out up to a point, it is fairly snug within the main body of the jacket (which contains the lining), but the arms are unfortunately sans lining so they suffer in the transition.
What kind of lining does Sherpa jacket have?
The sleeves have a quilted polyamide/polyester lining – certainly not as warm as the body but still pretty decent. I really like the hidden pocket on the inside of the jacket – it’s a good size for your phone or wallet. My only complaints, I guess, would be that I wish the front pockets had a sherpa lining as well to keep your hands warm.
