What is Math Kangaroo levels?
Math Kangaroo is an international mathematical competition for students in grades 1 through 12. Awards are given to the top scoring students per grade at the national level. High scoring students in the US that are ranked high within their state will also be awarded as a state winner.
Are calculators allowed in math Kangaroo?
The competition will be held at the student’s own school, to be administered by the assigned PIC. Students can only bring a pencil, eraser and geometric tools to the competition. The student may NOT use a calculator or a reference text during the competition.
How long is the math Kangaroo test?
75 minute
Math Kangaroo is a 75 minute challenging multiple choice math contest for students in grades 1-12. There are 24 questions for grades 1-4, and 30 questions for grades 5-12. All registered students receive a t-shirt, electronic certificate, and memento gift.
How far can a kangaroo hop?

How do you see the results of a math Kangaroo?
Math Kangaroo will post the answer key two months after the first day of the competition. Math Kangaroo plans to release the results before or on June 1st. How do you become a Kangaroo in math?
Please contact [email protected]. Families are welcome to register their children for any center that is listed during the enrollment period from September to the end of December each year. In some areas interest in participation is greater than the capacity of our centers.
How long is Kangaroo math competition?
2.5 hours
The contest will be held over a period of 2.5 hours. The paper is a mixture of MCQ and subjective problems.
