In 1998, the BC Wildlife Branch estimated 12,000-14,000 Stone’s sheep reside in BC or approximately 75% of the world’s population. At that time, approximately 7,000 Stone’s sheep inhabited the M-KMA. To date, little research has been conducted directly on Stone’s sheep.
