Since his move back to OpTic Gaming, BigTymeR has remained under the OpTic Gaming name. Late in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 season, OpTic Gaming released their long time captain and teammate MerK, only to have BigTymeR take over as their newest captain for OpTic Gaming’s 2014 season.

After placing 7th at two online tournaments, they finally caught a break and took home first at UMG Chicago, the first major LAN tournament in Black Ops 2. From there however, they placed consistently 6th, 3rd,3rd and 3rd. Then, a major announcement happened, MerK was dropped from OpTic Gaming.
