Can you cheat the edTPA?
edTPA is highly cheatable. The hallmark of inauthentic assessment is that it’s easy to cheat, because you don’t have to be good at what you’re allegedly being judged for– you just have to be good at the assessment task which, because it’s inauthentic, consists of faking proxies for the real deal anyway.
How many videos do I submit for edTPA?
Two clips, no more than 15 minutes total running time. Video or Audio Evidence of Learning: For each focus child, submit one video or audio clip of no more than 7 minutes in length.
How many students should be in edTPA video?

Can you appeal edTPA score?

The Georgia Professional Standards Commission, which oversees teacher-preparation programs, unanimously voted Thursday to drop the statewide requirement, although individual programs can still require candidates to take the edTPA. The decision goes into effect on July 1.

Is it hard to pass edTPA?
So it follows that pass rates on the edTPA are still relatively high. Last year, 18,000 prospective teachers took the edTPA nationally, and about 72 percent scored high enough to pass. This pass rate seems more reasonable than the national pass rate for traditional licensure tests of over 90 percent.
What should I film for edTPA?
The digital, video or smartphone camera that you use should support at least one of edTPA’s acceptable file formats: flv, asf, qt, mov, mpg, mpeg, avi, wmv, mp4, m4v. Videos that are uploaded in their original format are less likely to drop in quality.
