The 2021 Blackpool Illuminations will shine again throughout Christmas and New Year. They’ll burst into light and colour in September – remaining lit until January 2022! And there’ll be a bigger and brighter Christmas this year – with themed events, shows and attractions.

It is possible to drive through the Illuminations, but expect this to be slow!
Where do the Blackpool Illuminations start and end?
Blackpool Illuminations take place on the Fylde Coast, and is 10km long. It begins at Squires Gate, and ends at Red Bank Road. Visitors can experience the Illuminations on-foot, or by car.

Blackpool Illuminations will return for its grand Switch-On on 3 September. We’re extending the season for the second consecutive year, shining every night until 3 January 2022.
