EDHREC is a crowdsourced repository of Commander decks and ideas – users submit decks, and EDHREC runs the numbers to tell you which cards are most popular in various lists. It’s a great resource for any Commander player, but I especially love it because it allows me to compare my wacky ideas with the average player’s.

As there are numerous legendary creatures that directly reference enchantments, its no surprise that there are numerous potent enchantment-based commanders for players to choose from when constructing a commander deck.

When choosing a commander, you must use either a legendary creature, a planeswalker with the ability to be commander, or a pair of legendary creatures or planeswalkers that both have partner. The chosen card or pair is called the commander or general of the deck.
What is synergy in Edhrec?
Synergy rating is intended to show cards that are particularly important to the commander or theme you are currently viewing. This is opposed to just cards that are generally played in most decks that are popular because they are individually strong.
What does synergy mean on Edhrec?
Synergy is basically just a score of how much more relatively popular a card is with a particular commander than with other commanders. So cards that are played very widely across the format can have negative synergy scores even if they are near auto-includes.
How many lands should a Commander deck have?
As a general rule of thumb, you want somewhere between 33 and 42 lands in a Commander deck. Naturally, you want as many special lands as you can find.
Is mill good in Commander?
Milling is one of the most powerful strategies in Magic: the Gathering, and these are the top ten commanders to use for milling decks. If a player were to draw a card and there are no cards left in their deck, that player loses the game, making Mill a potential means of taking out other players in a game of Commander.
What sets are legal for Commander?
