What happens if you fail a resit Uwe?
If you fail the resit, you are entitled to retake the whole module again. If there are no accepted PCs then the module will be capped. Even if you have an application accepted you will still have to pay the module fee.
How many resits are allowed at Uwe?
You can be given an extra retake at a module if after two attempts you fail. One attempt includes one sit and one resit. This is subject to the requirements of professional bodies, professional practice module regulation D1 and withdrawal from a programme regulation C7.
Are Uwe Resits capped?
No mark capping if you need to resit or retake Module marks are no longer capped at the pass mark if you need a resit or a retake and have not been previously capped. However, if you had component or module marks capped at an exam board which took place prior to 1st August 2019 these will remain capped.
Where can I find my Uwe timetable?
To see your timetable, set the ‘Week(s)’, ‘Day(s)’ and ‘Start/End Time’ options and then select the ‘Change View’ button. The timetable for the period selected will then be displayed.

Your UWE Welcome ID is the eight digit number (e.g. 10123456) that you have been using to access your UWE Welcome website and can be found on all Admissions correspondence you will have received from the University.
Can I retake a module in second year?
Normally students are allowed one retake of failed modules. If they don’t pass that time then it’s likely they’ll have to retake the module the following year. This comes at an extra financial cost and it means they won’t be able to progress to the next year of their course.
Can you retake final year university if you fail?

- Currently students can view their personal timetable via SITS (https://my.tcd.ie).
- You will be brought to a view of the current month’s calendar.
- The three icon buttons in the top left will allow you to switch between a daily view, a weekly view and the default monthly view.
How do I find my Uwe username?
Your username can be found on the first e-mail that was sent to you at the start of this process. The username will be similar in format to the example given e.g. a-student or a5-student.
When is spring term 2020 at UWE Bristol?
21 September 2020 – 16 October 2020. Please note: Nursing and Midwifery professional programmes have the induction on 21 September 2020 and teaching begins on 28 September 2020. Block Zero (Spring Term) 18 January 2021 – 5 February 2021. There are three, 11 week long, teaching blocks throughout the 20/21 academic year.
How often do you do block zero at UWE?
Once per academic year you will take part in Block Zero, an online-only teaching block, providing you with personalised support. This Block Zero is for those whose course begins its teaching in the Autumn Term.
