Can you replace Costa plastic lenses with glass?
They can be replaced. If you send them in to Costa, they will evaluate the glasses and determine if they’re covered under warranty or not. If so, it’s just a shipping fee of around $12. If not covered, you’re looking at around $80/lens or that’s what they quoted on my wife’s glasses anyhow.

Costa is known for having some of the highest quality polarized lenses on the market, so if your lenses do not seem to match this quality, you probably have fake ones. Whether you have glass or polycarbonate lenses, they will always have a “580” or “580P” etched into the lens.
How do you get scratches out of Costa lenses?
Mix one (1) part water and two (2) parts baking soda in a small bowl until you have a thick paste. Rub the baking soda paste into the scratch for 10 seconds, using a cotton ball and a circular motion. Rinse the paste off with cool water. You’ll probably have some excess, so wipe it off with a lint-free cloth.

I couldn’t be happier with the product, they are nice, polarized lenses which arrived well packaged and in brand new condition. I love my Oakley frames but cant justify spending the cash for their lenses. These are an awesome alternative and fit perfectly. I may buy more just to have some options!
