Are Berghaus waterproofs any good?
I’m happy to confirm it’s totally waterproof – even after a sustained downpour I was nice and dry inside, which attests to the garment’s breathability too as I wasn’t exactly hanging around. It’s a close-fitting, tailored jacket, not designed for a whole load of layers underneath.

Its not too warm and bulky. It has the feature to add a fleece lining, which will be OK for the really cold weather. Overall I find Berghaus do an excellent product at a great price, when compared with some other over priced walking/waterproof jackets.
