How does gather work?
How does it work? Gather Town starts with its rooms. Much like 8-bit pixelized video games, users can select a vast array of rooms to fit the atmosphere of almost any place of human interaction. After selecting an avatar, users can seamlessly move in and out of interactions with other people in their rooms.
How do you sit down in Gathertown?
Want to have a sit down conversation? Walk up to one of the various tables with chairs and you will enter a “private space.” In these areas you can chat with other participants sitting in the space.
How do you make a private space gather town?
Enter a secure password. Choose the reason for building the space, and click Create space. If you are not signed in to Gather, after you click Create space, a confirmation message displays. Use this opportunity to sign in or sign up to save your Space for future use.

How do I change my avatar gather?

Does gather town work on IPAD?
Gather. town is not supported on Safari (apologies Mac users) nor is it supported on mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc). If you ever get stuck, simply go into settings and respawn to the lobby (see below).
How do you interact with Gather?
In Gather, you are transported into a virtual venue via a pixelated animation called an avatar. Using the arrow keys on your computer’s keyboard, you can walk around the venue, explore the rooms, and interact with other participants through video/audio chats.
