Started in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, then Colorado PTA President, Reflections has grown to be one of the largest nationwide programs of its kind, with more than 200,000 students participating annually.

What do you get if you win PTA Reflections?
Through our annual search process, one winning student’s theme will inspire the hundreds of thousands of student artists that participate in the Reflections program. The winning student will also receive a $100 award and national recognition.

Each year, 30 students are recognized with a California State PTA Award of Excellence for their artwork and receive: Opportunity to showcase and perform their artwork at the California State PTA convention.
