Does Whakapapa Village have snow?
Yes, there will be snow at the Whakapapa or Turoa ski fields. You can drive up to Whakapapa from the west of Ruapehu near the town of National Park. and you can drive up to Turoa from Ohakune.
Is Turoa still open?
Clear skies at Tūroa today, with light to moderate winds. The Movenpick is OPEN for access only. Giant and High Noon Express is now OPEN for skiing and riding. If you want to ski and ride at Tūroa MASKS MUST BE WORN in all lift queues, on chairs, and inside buildings.
