What is the cancellation policy for the Cape May Lewes Ferry?
Bookings may always be rescheduled at no charge, but if cancelled, a non-refundable cancellation fee will be imposed of $5 per one-way, and $10 per roundtrip booking.
Can you bring alcohol on the Cape May Ferry?
No open alcoholic beverages are allowed in cars on the Ferry. Alcohol purchased in the terminals, including at On the Rocks Dockside Grill, must be completely consumed or discarded prior to boarding. You cannot carry an open drink from the terminals to the boats or vice versa.

Yes you can take you’re own food & drink on-board. I think parking is £12 per 24 hours or part thereof.
Does Cape May ferry run in bad weather?
Yes we do. In fact, weather-related impacts to our service are very few and far between. While passenger safety will always be our top priority, the Ferry can and regularly does sail in the rain, snow, and wind.

Do you need a reservation for the Cape May ferry?
Reservations: Reservations are currently required due to COVID-19 protocols. Normally, reservations are always recommended to secure space aboard the vessel especially during the summer, on weekends and holidays when vessels are frequently sold out. All booked vehicles are asked to check in at least 45 minutes – 1 hour prior to boarding.
How long are Cape May Lewes Ferry tickets valid?
Ferry tickets are valid for two years from date of purchase. Tickets purchased as part of a promotional package may have different expiration dates. Group Bookings: All bus tours and group tours (including motorcycle groups and walk-on groups) require reservations, and likely qualify for group discounts.
Where are alcoholic beverages sold on the Cape May ferry?
Alcoholic beverages are sold on each vessel and in each terminal, but beverages purchased in the terminals must be discarded before boarding. Similarly, beverages purchased on board must be discarded before disembarking.
Do you need a mask on a ferry?
Passengers, masks are no longer required on the exterior decks of the vessel, however please note that per US Coast Guard regulations, masks remain required when indoors aboard the vessels, unless eating or drinking.
