Can you use VoIP on a cell phone?
Yes, smartphones and cell phone users can use mobile VoIP services. In order to do so, however, you require mobile VoIP software/apps. The apps are provided by your VoIP phone service provider, but there are also other mobile apps available that you have probably heard of or even used before such as Skype and Facetime.

Can I use Skype as my home phone?
Skype to Skype calls are free – but to call a mobile or landline from Skype, you need a little Skype Credit or a subscription. Our call rates are the same wherever you are calling from. They only vary depending on where you are calling to.
What is the difference between IP phone and VoIP phone?
An IP Phone System uses IP technology within the private data network in a single location or across a private network to reach remote locations. “VoIP” refers to using the public Internet to carry voice traffic. If you don’t have a private network, you can use the public Internet to access them.
How can I tell what devices My Skype is on?
To view detailed activity reports of members’ accounts:
- Sign in to Skype Manager and go to the Reports section.
- In the Usage tab, click I want to access the reports.
- Enter the name of the member you want to view detailed activity reports for.
Do Skype phones work with teams?
Additionally, we will be supporting core calling features on SIP phones from Cisco, Yealink, Polycom, and others with Teams. Support for SIP phones will be available in the first half of 2021.
