The beach was small, with bars, shops, and a street market all full of people, the beach was literally standing room only. Haven’t seen a beach like that in years, great to see. More real Spain, rather than the tourist soaked beaches in Cristianos and Americas, highly recommended.

As a previous responder said, the nightlife is in Americanos and Christianos is much more thriving, whilst Medano has just restaurants and closes quite early! We found that to get around on the island, the bus service was ok as long as you went to San Isidor first, near to Medano, where there is a terminus for other bus services around the island.
