When does project 1999 PvE server come out?
Introducing Project 1999: Green, to be released on October 25, 2019 (Early Afternoon Eastern Time) Project 1999 Green is a new PVE server without any patches or expansions enabled upon release. Old-style mechanics and drops will be enabled, including legacy items such as Guise of the Deceiver and Manastone.
Is there going to be a project 1999 downtime?
There will be a systemwide downtime for all Project 1999 and EQEmulator services some time after 5:30 PM EST. The downtime is not expected to take longer than 4 hours, however this may be extended as necessary if issues occur. I’m pleased to announce Galach and Medris have been promoted to full GMs.

When do Wizards get left out of groups?
Wizards are capable adventurers solo once they are able to quad kite at level 29. Wizard generally get left out of groups among min maxers due to Wizards suffering mana issues with fast killing groups. Ironically the worse a group is the more a Wizard excels, since they are able to meditate more often and therefore contribute.
What are the downsides of playing project 99?
Its only downside is the -8 STR, which isn’t a problem at all if you rounded your starting stats by boosting up STR. Your best bet playing the early levels on Project 99 is to get yourself to Freeport (or Neriak) so that you can play in East Commons and beg for buffs in the East Commons Tunnel, your main desire being Spirit of the Wolf and Clarity.
How is the effectiveness of a wizard determined?
Ultimately, however, a wizard’s effectiveness is determined by total mana (for maximum burst damage and useful for quadding) and mana regen rate (for long-term sustained dps). Because intelligence gear is easily obtained and because all races regenerate mana at the same rate, no one race is substantially superior to another.
