Is Radical Road open?
Please be aware the Radical Road footpath and the Low Road between the Commonwealth Pool roundabout and Duddingston are currently closed. The High Road and Dunsapie Loch Car Park are open to vehicles from Tues to Thur, 9.30am to 3pm. Sat & Sun, all roads are closed to vehicles: Closures commence 8.15am to 9am.
Can you drive up Arthur’s Seat?
The Easier (but less scenic) Option to Arthur’s Seat It is possible to drive a portion of the climb. Drive your car (or take a taxi) to Dunsapie Loch and follow the trail to summit (the Yellow Route). This way is less scenic than hiking from Holyrood Palace.
Is Arthur’s Seat closed?

Can you drive around Arthur’s Seat Edinburgh?
There are several routes to access Arthur’s Seat. The main walking routes are the Blue Route (1.5 miles) and the Black Circuit (1.8 miles), which have different starting points and sights along the way. Those with limited mobility can partially drive to Arthur’s Seat by heading along the Queen’s Drive to Dunsapie Loch.
