Is Crystal Cave worth visiting?
Crystal Cave is a must see. The tour guides offer interesting facts and it was a great experience for the entire family. Just be sure to ask if you have any special needs (wheelchairs, strollers, etc). It could be a little difficult to walk through the tour but well worth it.

Crystal Cave is located off the Generals Highway in Sequoia National Park, between the Ash Mountain entrance and Giant Forest. There’s a half-mile hike required to get to the cave entrance – the reward is well-worth the scenic stroll. Purchase tickets at the Foothills or Lodgepole Visitor Centers.

How long is the tour of Crystal Cave?
Tours are suitable for all ages. If you decide to see the cave, plan on spending about half a day traveling to the cave, walking to the entrance, and taking the 50-minute tour. Guided tours of Crystal Cave are offered from spring through fall by our partner, the Sequoia Parks Conservancy.
