The Osmo Pocket’s internal microphone doesn’t sound terrible, but in my time with the camera, it seems to be the weakest part of the device, especially when compared with the video footage produced by its three-axis stabilized camera.

Can you put a mic on a gimbal?
All regular gimbals have a 1/4″20 ball mount at the bottom of the handle. Take a magic arm or a friction arm with two 1/4″20 ends and mount one side to the bottom of the gimbal and the mic to the other. This way, you’ll have contact to the friction arm from any side.
