During a match between two nWo members in Randy Savage and Hollywood Hogan, Nash attacked Hogan, and he and Savage broke off to form the nWo Wolfpac. Nash won the world title as the leader of the Wolfpac before laying down for Hogan and forming the nWo Elite.

Scott Hall bounced between the nWo Wolfpac and nWo Hollywood when the faction he helped create fractured. Hall ended up back in the fold when nWo Elite formed, re-joining Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash and remained there until his life started to fall apart.
