Can I take Vastarel Mr without food?
Trimetazidine 35 mg can be taken irrespective of food and drink. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
How long should I take Vastarel Mr?
One tablet twice daily, that is once in the morning and once in the evening, during meals. The benefit of the treatment should be assessed after three months and trimetazidine should be discontinued if there is no treatment response.

Trimetazidine inhibits β-oxidation of fatty acids by blocking long-chain 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase, which enhances glucose oxidation. In an ischaemic cell, energy obtained during glucose oxidation requires less oxygen consumption than in the β-oxidation process.
Can trimetazidine lower BP?
